This service is a OFN (Oxygen Free Nitrogen) Pressure Test to establish if the system has any leaks prior to filling the system with refrigerant.
Testing should always be carried out if the system is empty, or a new component has been fitted.
This test will always be carried out before filling the system with refrigerant, If you have a DIY kit or pay retailer to just fill the system with refrigerant, this will only result it leaking out again and apply extra pressure on your A/C system and pipe work.
